We are a tuition free public high school serving students in three locations — London, Mansfield, and Marion. We are a different kind of high school.

The difference at BCS starts with our staff. We care about getting to know you. The first thing we do when you come to BCS as a student is listen. We listen to learn about your dreams, your passions, your goals. We listen to understand your challenges, your struggles, and your unique circumstances. We want to hear it all.

Only after listening to your needs, desires, and frustrations do we start to build a plan for you to finish high school. We craft a plan with you that is based on your learning style, one that offers the flexibility you need. Then we check in regularly to see how things are going.

Our classes are small and designed to give you all of the personal attention you need. If you often felt like you were left behind in your previous school, either by a class that moved too quickly or too slowly, our model is perfect for you. You receive 1:1 support and attention from your teachers as you achieve mastery in each of your courses.

Because our staff take an active role in learning about you and designing a plan to meet your needs, you are never going to be just a number at BCS. You become part of the inclusive Buckeye community with the support of teachers, specialists, and your fellow students.
